What can I do on these pages?

In the ‘Online’ section you will find different kinds of online material to help you either to increase your skills in a language you already know or to learn a new language.

The material on offer ranges from language skills activities and advice sheets to links for on-line courses, dictionaries and current affairs sites with audio and video reports.

In the ‘Self Access Centre’ section, you will be able to find details of the study books, dictionaries, computer programs, cassettes, CD-ROMs, videos, satellite TV channels and advice services available in the Self Access Centre in the Language Centre for independent language study.

Overall, both our online and local services provide material in more than 10 languages, including English, Swedish, German, French, Spanish, Russian, Finnish for Foreigners and Chinese.
